Richard Allan “R.J.” Jones II age 41 of Bloomington IL passed away at 7:35 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. His funeral service will be 11:00 Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Pastor Matt Vagle will be officiating. Burial will be Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Monday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to his father for funeral expenses c/o Richard Jones Sr. 2528 Pipeline Road, Towanda Il 61776.

R.J. Was born September 9, 1975 in Normal, IL the son of Richard Allan “Ticky” and Ginetta A. Upchurch Jones. He married Aimee Lyn Wheeler on February 14, 2015 in Bloomington, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents, Richard Allan “Ticky” and Ginetta A. Jones, Towanda, IL ,7 children, Chelsea Sue, Richard Allan III,Tori Ruth, Jacob Wyatt, Meontay Dupree, Halei Nicole, Aubriella Lyn, 1 brother, Michael (Amanda) Jones, Bloomington, IL and his “fur kids” Chloe, Diesel and Brown.

R.J. is preceded in death by his grandparents and 1 brother, Scott Jones.

He was the owner & operator of R.J.’s Auto Repair. R.J. enjoyed NHRA drag racing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. R.J. had a great sense of humor and enjoyed “clowning around” with his family and friends. His favorite quote was “Loyalty Runs Deep.”
